Our Mission provides a direct and personal method to contact and send boxes and letters to U.S. soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen serving overseas. At regularly-scheduled packing sessions, volunteers pack boxes for military units based on the units' unique needs and requests.
Particular attention is given to service personnel who are in remote locations, do not receive mail, or who provide humanitarian aid to schools, clinics, hospitals, orphanages or villages.
Click one of the following boxes for further detail.
As of January 2009, using soldier addresses obtained from AnySoldier.com®, our soldier support project has packed and mailed 1,838 boxes weighing 28,876 pounds. The boxes were mailed to 1,402 military units representing 49,575 military personnel in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Columbia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, The Philippines, Qatar, Serbia, and the United Arab Emirates.
1,538 people have now packed boxes, and 3,383 people have written letters.
A diverse set of clubs, organizations, and groups have written letters and packed boxes to support our troops overseas. In addition to such packing sessions, 'open packing sessions' are also held to accommodate families and individuals who want to support our troops overseas.
We had 5 packing sessions in January, 2009, wherein 119 people packed 120 boxes weighing 1,789 pounds. Besides February 21, we have 7 sessions scheduled for the month of March, and all packing sessions are filled to capacity until April!
